Featured Cats: Truffles and Hazel (Adopted!)

Updated: Oct 7, 2024

Meet Truffles and Hazel!

Bonded Female Siblings

DOB: 2015

Truffles and Hazel, inseparable sisters born on the streets, spent their early years in a managed outdoor colony behind a restaurant parking lot, where kind souls provided food and shelter.

For over eight years, they faced the trials of homeless life together, bravely searching for food and keeping each other safe from predators. Despite the hardships, their bond and resilience shone brightly.

During the winter months, they were often found huddled together under the steering wheel of an abandoned van, having crawled in through a hole to keep warm. Sometimes, Truffles and Hazel would be seen on the dashboard, basking in the warmth of the sun streaming through the window.

In August 2023, they were rescued as part of a TNR (trap, neuter, and release) project. Since then, in the safety of their foster home, they have adapted remarkably well to life as indoor-only cats.

Hazel is a bit more shy and needs a gentle approach, while Truffles is more at ease around new people. Truffles' confidence makes her sister, Hazel, feel more secure. Truffles is a gentle and sweet soul who loves to be petted and stroked. Both of them love to be petted and stroked. Trufflesquietly waits her turn for some TLC (tender, love, and care) and, of course, treats!

Truffles and Hazel, the inseparable sisters, are in search of a forever home that will provide them with abundance and unconditional love. They are looking forward to cherishing their retirement years in a loving environment.

If you want to be the one to give these sweet sisters the furever home they have never known and truly deserve, please fill out a cat adoption application and contact us.

They also have a sponsor who is willing to cover the second adoption fee in order to keep these inseparable sisters together!
